“…Lejeune and Vas (2009) evaluated the influence of accreditations using a survey-based approach, revealing that the European Quality Improvement System accreditation has a positive influence on performance, particularly in terms of helping schools recruit better qualified academic staff. On the other hand, a qualitative study by Blanco Ramírez and Luu (2018) in three Canadian universities showed that implementing the USA accreditation model may not provide benefits for the institutions; instead it was found to increase workload. This is consistent with a study conducted by Hail et al (2019), which identified academic staff workload as a key problem when adopting national accreditation.…”
