A pulse microwave generator

Abstract

The tunable generator intended for producing rectangular microwave pulses with a 1 µs duration, 50 Hz pulse repetition rate, and 1 kW power, operating in a frequency range of 2.7-3.7 GHz, is described. The generator can be used for calibrating microwave detectors and tuning microwave units in investigations performed in the area of relativistic microwave electronics.
