A Protocol for Safe Lithiation Reactions Using Organolithium Reagents

Abstract: Organolithium reagents are powerful tools in the synthetic chemist's toolbox. However, the extreme pyrophoric nature of the most reactive reagents warrants proper technique, thorough training, and proper personal protective equipment.
