A prospective study of outcome of resection anastomosis in elective GI surgeries.

Abstract: Background: Bowel anastomosis is successful when there is accurate union with no tension.Previous literature has compared between hand suturing and stapling devices in retrospective andprospective designs with varying outcomes.
