Abstract: Background: Procedure tract metastasis (PTM) may complicate pleural procedures in malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) patients and cause significant morbidity. Aim: To evaluate the effectiveness of prophylactic radiotherapy (RTH) in preventing PTM and reducing pain.
