A Projection of Coal Gas Properties Considered from the Viewpoint of a Coal Gas Combined-Cycle Plant

Abstract: Four factors affect the quality of coal gas in the type of total gasification plant used for generation of electricity. The coal gas properties investigated here are considered in relation to the effects of these four factors: (a) coal type, (b) fluidized-bed type of gasifier, (c) wet (cold) and dry (hot) gas cleanup systems, and (d) gas turbine requirements.
