Abstract:In this prelude study, the high-density polyethylene/kenaf core fiber (HDPE/KCF) biocomposites without and containing hydrophobic ionic liquid, namely 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([Emim][NTf2]), were prepared via melt mixing process.
