A Preliminary Study of Non-intrusive Blood Pressure Monitoring using Portable Device

Abstract: Novel blood pressure (BP) monitoring device focused on portability was studied preliminarily. Electrocardiogram (ECG) and photoplethysmogram (PPG) was measured and pulse arrival time (PAT) was computed from these signals. Systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) showed a clear correlation with PAT.
