Abstract:The reduction of ship emissions (i.e., Nitrogen Oxides -NOx, Sulfur Oxides -SOx and Particulate Matter PM) are of paramount importance particularly when shipping in Emission Control Areas (ECAs) where restrictive limits on emissions are imposed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
