A predictor-corrector scheme for open boundary problems

Abstract: In this paper an iterative finite-element procedure is described for the solution of non-linear timevarying eddy current problems in open boundaries. A fictitious boundary delimiting a bounded domain is introduced. At each discrete time, two algebraic systems are set up and solved for the predictor and corrector solutions.
