“…High-grade metamorphism at this time in the southern structural domain is supported by a U-Pb (monazite) age of 1845 ± 4 Ma (Andersson, 1997; Table 2) from a garnet-cordierite gneiss close to a noritic intrusion. The norite belongs to the 1.87-1.84 Ga, alkali-calcic, TIB-0 intrusive rock suite, along the northern margin to which there is evidence for penetrative ductile strain prior to the intrusion of the suite (Wikström et al, 1997;Stephens et al, 2009). Ductile deformation and a M 1 metamorphic event prior to and during, respectively, the TIB-0 magmatic event in the southern structural domain are inferred.…”
