Abstract:Iptacopan, the first orally available small-molecule complement factor B inhibitor, was developed by Novartis AG of Switzerland. Iptacopan for the treatment of PNH was just approved by the FDA in December 2023. Other indications for treatment are still in phase III clinical trials.
