Este trabalho apresenta uma estratégia de controle sensorless para a máquina BLDC baseado em uma abordagem PSD+PLL (positive sequence detector + phase-locked loop). Devido a característica não-senoidal da força contra-eletromotriz (FCEM), métodos convencionais baseados em modelo podem resultar em erros na estimação de velocidade e posição da máquina BLDC no acionamento vetorial. Para contornar este problema, a forma de onda da FCEM inicialmente será reconstruída utilizando um observador de Luenberger em eixos estacionários. A seguir, um detector de sequência positiva (PSD) com adaptador de frequência será utilizado nas forças contra-eletromotrizes observadas, possibilitando a obtenção da componente de frequência fundamental e eliminando as componentes harmônicas da FCEM. Uma malha de captura de fase (PLL) realimentada cujo mecanismo de ajuste é um controlador PI será empregada nas componentes de sequ`ência positiva para estimar a posição e velocidade da máquina. Resultadosde simulação demonstram que a estimação da posição e velocidade através das componentes de sequência positiva apresenta superioridade quando comparada as grandezas obtidas diretamente pelas forças contra-eletromotrizes reais da máquina.

A Lag Angle Compensation Strategy of Phase Current for High-Speed BLDC Motors

For brushless dc motor operating at ideal commutation point, the angle of the phase current vector will lag behind that of the back electromotive force (EMF) vector due to the motor phase inductance. The lag angle increases the root-mean-square (rms) value of phase current under a certain average torque output, which results in more heat and less efficiency, especially at high rotational velocity. The principle that the angle of ideal current vector is equal to that of the back EMF vector at the center of a conduction sector is analyzed. A novel advance compensation method for commutation point is proposed based on the principle. The advance angle is calculated in real time according to the phase current, the inductance, and the flux linkage established by the magnet of the motor. By conducting the voltage vector of voltage source inverter before the ideal commutation point in advance, the lag of the phase current would be eliminated. Thereby, the rms value of the phase current is reduced. Finally, both simulation and experiments verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

To enhance the accuracy of estimated rotor position for sensorless controlled permanent magnet synchronous motor, the strategy based on sliding mode observer (SMO) with dual second order generalized integrator (DSOGI) is proposed. The SMO is utilized to estimate the back electromotive force (EMF). Considering the estimated back-EMF harmonics resulting from both flux spatial harmonics and inverter nonlinearities, the DSOGI is applied to eliminate multiple orders harmonics and extract the fundamental wave of the estimated back-EMF for calculating the rotor position. Therefore, the DSOGI can effectively reduce the influence of the estimated back-EMF harmonics and improve the accuracy of rotor position estimation. In addition, the software quadrature phase-locked loop with back-EMF normalization is utilized to calculate the rotor position in order to eliminate the influence of the changed back-EMF magnitude at different speed. Finally, to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy, the experimental platform of an open-winding permanent magnet brushless motor is built. The comparison results verified that the drive system performance of both steady state and dynamic state is improved.
