A phosphorus/fluorine‐containing block copolymer endows epoxy with multifunctionality

Abstract: In order to achieve flame retardant, hydrophobic, and toughened epoxy resins, phosphorus/fluorine‐containing block copolymer (FBCP) was synthesized by reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer polymerization, and then the as‐synthesized PMADOPO‐b‐PHFBA block copolymer was used as additive to modify the epoxy resin, accompanying with a random copolymer (FRCP) serving as control group.
