Abstract:<p>We propose a method that employs the decorrelated compounding method [Zhao2022DCjasael] to reduce speckle variation in ultrasound images for estimating the attenuation coefficient in Synthetic Transmit Aperture (STA) imaging. The transducer bandwidth was divided into several overlapping sub-bands.
