A passive heat transport system for fusion reactor

Abstract: The paper deals with the application of the passive heat transport concept. This concept differs from the conventional heat transport concept based on the use of a single-phase medium (pressurized water) in application of a two-phase medium (steam-water) and permits to provide the safe decay heat transport from a reactor at emergency cooldown without time limit due to reduced energy store in the loop and absence of active components.
