Objetivo: Relatar uma experiência sobre o processo de construção e desenvolvimento de oficinas terapêuticas de cinema com usuários acompanhados para tratamento em dois Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Álcool e Drogas do tipo III, em diferentes regiões administrativas do Distrito Federal. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo e descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência, de residentes das categorias profissionais enfermagem e terapia ocupacional membros do Programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde Mental do Adulto (PRMSMA), da Escola Superior de Ciências da Saúde (ESCS). Resultados: Ao total foram realizados 08 encontros de oficinas de cinema no CAPS Ad III Ceilândia e 08 encontros de oficinas de cinema no CAPS Ad III Samambaia. Tendo como participação, cerca de 20 usuários que estavam vinculados a estes serviços substitutivos de cuidado em saúde mental. Considerações finais: Acredita-se que esta produção construída e desenvolvida nestes cenários proporcionaram as profissionais residentes a possibilidade de colocar em prática habilidades éticas, criativas, tecnológicas e baseadas nos princípios da reforma psiquiátrica, respeitando fundamentos morais e antimanicomiais que são incentivados pelo programa de residência, no qual fazem parte.
