A Numerical Technique to Estimate Water Depths from Remotely Sensed Water Wave Characteristics

Abstract: This paper describes a numerical technique to estimate water depths from remotely sensed water wave characteristics. Two depth inversion models have been developed based on both linear and nonlinear dispersion relations.
