A numerical method for diffusion, attachment, and recombination coefficients in uv ionized gases

Abstract: A numerical technique is established for analyzing the experimental data from photoplasma density measurements. The simultaneous effects and relative importance of photo-ionization, diffusion, attachment, and recombination are considered for a typical laser media. The results suggest that the initial diffusion of electrons plays an important role in uv preionized C02 laser systems.
