A Novel Technique for the Treatment of Jersey Fingers

Abstract: The avulsion of the flexor digitorum profundus from its insertion, or "jersey finger," is a relatively common injury. Numerous modifications have been made to the classification and treatment of this injury since its initial description. We describe a novel variation of the surgical management of jersey finger.
