A Novel Square Wave Generator Using Second-Generation Differential Current Conveyor

Abstract: By using two resistors and a single capacitor with second-generation differential current conveyor as an active element, a new square wave generator is proposed and implemented. The frequency of operation of the introduced model is varied with respect to the variation of remaining passive components. Maximum reduction in noise effects caused by parasitics generated during integrated circuit fabrication is achieved with the scheme of grounded capacitor. The mathematical model of the selected circuit is verified… Show more

“…It happens because the source and drain terminals of the MOSFET become to be closer. [14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21] As a result of that, the gate terminal of the MOSFET starts to lose the control of the channel. Those undesirable effects which causes negative behaviour of transistor are called "short-channel effects" (SCE).…”

“…[3] Due to this property, it is popularly used for data error correction and detection in digital communication. [16][17][18][19][20][21] We know that the barrel shifter block plays a vital role in performance of the device from last chapter. Due to its importance, several studies were made by researchers to improve its performance for increasing its applications.…”

“…Individual Steady state operations can be made for the charging as well as the discharging mode of the capacitor. Alternate standard equations presented in the literature [44], [43] can also be followed to sum up the circuit description. Theoretical calculations based on the commensurate observations from Fig.…”

“…They include Current Conveyors (CC) [34][35][36][37], Operational Transconductance Amplifier [38][39][40], and Operational Transresistance Amplifier (OTRA) [41][42][43]. It also includes Differential Difference Current Conveyor Transconductance Amplifier (DDCCTA) [44], Current Differentiating Transconductance Amplifier (CDTA) [45,46], Current Through Transconductance Amplifier (CTTA) [47] Current Feedback Operational Amplifier (CFOA) [48][49][50][51], Differential Difference Current Conveyor (DVCC) [52], Multiple Output Current Through Transconductance Amplifier (MO-CTTA) [53], and Second Generation Differential Current Conveyor (DCCII) [54,55]. This paper has proposed a new design, namely, voltage mode differentiator with an active element CNVDTA without a resistor.…”
