A novel pharmacological treatment concept for neuroprotection in severe traumatic brain injury -- two case reports

Abstract: Severe traumatic brain injury is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, resulting in a significant individual and socioeconomic burden. We present two cases of severe traumatic brain injury with surprisingly encouraging outcomes. We attribute this to the additional combined administration of citicoline and cerebrolysin.
