Abstract:Extracellular microRNAs (miRNAs) play a critical role in horizontal gene regulation. Uptake of extracellular miRNAs by recipient cells and their intracellular transport, however, remains elusive. Here RNA phase separation is shown as a novel pathway of miRNA uptake.
