A Novel Overlap-Time Effect Suppression for Current Source Converter

Abstract: In order to ensure the continuity of the DC-side inductor current, current source converter (CSC) needs to add overlap time between the drive signals, but the overlap time will introduce low order (mainly fifth and seventh) harmonics to the grid current, which seriously degrade the harmonic performance of grid current.
