The experiment was performed on the plant Tribulus terrestris L. which was collected from Khobar region in Al Dhale’ Governorate, Republic of Yemen on March. The extracts used (aqueous and methanol) were prepared in Lab of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy – Aden University. The experiment was done on two types of bacteria, one Gram negative (Escherichia coli) and one Gram positive (Staphylococcus aureus). The antimicrobial part of the experiment was carried out in the Microbiology Lab - University of Science and Technology, Aden, Yemen. The experiment was performed in triplicates, and using three factors (Type of solvent, Time and Concentrations). The results obtained were the following: The best solvent for extracting antibacterial substances was methanol in both bacteria (E. coli and S. aureus). The concentrations that produced the highest inhibition zones in E. coli were 600 and 800 mg/ml using well method, while in S. aureus the best concentrations were 400 and 600 mg /ml. The best result was obtained after 72 h using disk method on S. aureus, and using well method on E. coli. Interaction between concentrations and type of solvent showed that the best result was obtained by methanol extract using disk method at 200 mg/ml against E. coli, while the best result against S. aureus was obtained by methanol extract using disk method at 800 mg/ml. Interaction between different times and type of solvent indicated that the best result against E. coli was observed after 72h by aqueous extract using well method, while the best result against S. aureus was observed after 72h by methanol extract using disk method. Interaction between concentrations and different times showed that the best result was obtained after 72h at concentration 800mg/ml using well method against E. coli, while the best result against S. aureus was after 72h at concentration 400mg/ml using disk method. Interaction between type of solvent, concentrations and different times indicated that the best result in E. coli was observed after 72h by methanol extract at 200mg/ml using disk method, while the best result in S. aureus was observed after 72h by aqueous extract at 600mg/ml using disk method.

Purpose:The aim of the paper is twofold. First, it is a presentation the cryptocurrencies as an interdisciplinary issue, however raising justified concerns. Second, it is the analysis of the opinion of the young generation on the possibility of converting their national currency into cryptocurrencies. Design/methodology/approach: The survey questionnaire was used and data collected from 778 university students were statistically analyzed. The survey was conducted in Poland, a country the cryptocurrencies are treated quite neutrally, they are not banned, and at the same time, they are not a full-fledged means of payment. The opinions of Poland-based students about the possibility of cryptocurrencies adaptation as a national currency considering their experience with cryptocurrencies were taken into consideration. Findings: The results showed that only 17% of students see the possibility of cryptocurrency adaptation as a national currency whereas most of them were opposed to that idea. Significant differences were found between students who had and not had experience with cryptocurrencies and their opinions on such variables as access to cryptocurrency wallets, using cryptocurrencies as a means of payment, and willingness for undertaking activities aimed at cryptocurrencies. However, there were no differences for such variables as cryptocurrency mining as well as the period students learnt about cryptocurrencies. Generally, students who have already had experience with cryptocurrencies rated higher the possibility of cryptocurrency adaptation as a national currency and saw more chances for a such adaptation. Practical implications: The majority of students found it difficult to assess cryptocurrencies and their further development. The presumed adaptation of the cryptocurrencies can encounter two main problems, i.e., (1) there is a large group of people that have no experience with cryptocurrencies and are not interested in them, (2) the opinion and evaluation of cryptocurrencies vary significantly considering people's experience even though only younger generation were analyzed, i.e. people for whom newest technologies and solution are an inseparable part of their lives and thus they are more eager to use them. It can be assumed that for older generations these problems can act as a major limitation and barrier and thus to hinder cryptocurrency adaptation. Originality/value: This study is the first attempt to empirically test the young generation's opinion on the potential adaptation of cryptocurrencies as national currencies. The study results enrich the literature by analyzing cryptocurrencies as a phenomenon rather than an economic variable through the lens of the young generation's opinion.

As more people utilize the cloud, more employment opportunities become available. With constraints such as a limited make-span, a high utilization rate of available resources, minimal execution costs, and a rapid turnaround time for scheduling, this becomes an NP-hard optimization issue. The number of solutions/combinations increases exponentially with the magnitude of the challenge, such as the number of tasks and the number of computing resources, making the task scheduling problem NP-hard. As a result, achieving the optimum scheduling of user tasks is difficult. An intelligent resource allocation system can significantly cut down the costs and waste of resources. For instance, binary particle swarm optimization (BPSO) was created to combat ineffective heuristic approaches. However, the optimal solution will not be produced if these algorithms are not paired with additional heuristic or meta-heuristic algorithms. Due to the high temporal complexity of these algorithms, they are less useful in real-world settings. For the NP problem, the binary variation of PSO is presented for workload scheduling and balancing in cloud computing. Considering the updating and optimization constraints stated in this research, our objective function determines if heterogeneous virtual machines (VMs) Phave the most significant difference in completion time. In conjunction with load balancing, we developed a method for updating the placements of particles. According to the experiment results, the proposed method surpasses existing metaheuristic and heuristic algorithms regarding work scheduling and load balancing. This level of success has been attainable because of the application of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). ANN has demonstrated promising outcomes in resource distribution. ANN is more accurate and faster than multilayer perceptron networks at predicting targets.
