A Novel Multi-Period Two-Sided Matching Method on Solving Long-Term Care Problem for Disabled Elders With Probabilistic Linguistic Information

Abstract: China is facing an aging society, and more and more disabled elders need Long-Term Care(LTC) from care-givers. On the other hand, care-givers can obtain some income from providing their care services. Two-sided matching decision-making method is a very useful tool to deal with this social problem. In this paper, we propose a novel multi-period two-sided matching decision-making method for probabilistic linguistic information using D-S evidence theory. Firstly, we use D-S evidence theory to aggregate the inform… Show more

“…Considering that it is crucial to determine the prioritisation of patients when there are lots of them, [ 51 , 116 , 174 , 196 ] discussed the problem of patients' prioritisation systems. In terms of matching medical resources, matches between blood donors and patients [ 176 ], between elders and caregivers [ 107 ], between doctors and patients [ 62 ], and the allocation of kidneys [ 89 ] have been studied. Due to the potential infectiousness and danger of medical waste, its disposal should be taken seriously.…”
