A Novel Metallothionein Gene from Mussel, Hyriopsis cumingii: Identification and Expression under Lanthanum Exposure

Abstract: Metallothionein (MT) is a superfamily of cysteine‐rich, metal‐binding, low‐molecular‐weight proteins that participate in the storage, transportation, and metabolism of the trace metal elements.
