A novel filtering monopole antenna for 5G communications

Abstract: Purpose This study aims to design a compact filtering monopole antenna for 5G communication. The design is most suited for various applications within the frequency range of 2.2–3.8 GHz. It offers enhanced bandwidth and reasonable gain with wide-stopband performance.
