A Novel Dual-Output CCII-Based Single-Ended to Differential Converter

Abstract: In this paper a novel single-ended to differential converter topology, based on second generation current conveyors (CCIIs) is proposed. The converter architecture is very simple, being formed by a dual output currentconveyor (DOCCII) and three resistances which fix the gain of the circuit independently from the active block. Also the DOCCII topology is original, having the particular feature that output signals show a very little phase shifting between the two high impedance current outputs. The circuit has b… Show more

“…28 Similarly, the X and Y port resistances decrease as D CNT increases, as shown in Figure 13C,D. It is attributed to the increase in drive current with the increase in D CNT , as given by Equation (5). For entire analysis of CNTFET-DO-CCII the value of D CNT is taken as 1.5 nm at indices (19,0).…”

“…Tangsrirat 3 has designed and simulated a bipolar junction transistor based DO‐CCII. The proposed circuitry employs translinear elements, complementary current mirrors and mixed loop and uses 19 transistors that needs supply voltage of ±3 V. A CMOS realization of DO‐CCII was done by Gunes et al 4 It is used to design a new current mode active filter, 22 transistors at 1.2 μm technology node and is operated at ±10 V. Centrurelli et al 5 have designed a DO‐CCII using a symmetrical OTA, implemented in a standard 0.35 μm at supply voltage of ±0.75 V. The circuit consumes 18 MOS transistors. Tlelo‐Cuautle et al 6 have designed a DO‐CCII circuit employing voltage follower (VF) and a current follower.…”
