“…The core motivation behind MRep-DeepInsight is to leverage the complementary nature of different data representations. By simultaneously employing various established feature mapping techniques, such as UMAP 12 , t-SNE 11 , blurring technique 23 , and Gabor filtering 24 , we generate multiple representations of each sample, thereby providing a comprehensive view of its underlying characteristics. Theoretically, with an infinite number of manifold techniques, we could represent any nonlinear function, reiterating the principle in neural networks where an infinite number of nodes in middle layers allows for the representation of any function.…”

“…During the training of the network, feedforward operations are performed layer by layer on the input data, the final result of the output operation is compared with the target, and the error is returned to each neuron to https://doi.org/10.17993/3ctic.2023.122.97-115 adjust the connection parameters of each neuron. Multilayer neural network connections can accurately represent the complex nonlinear mapping relationships between input and output data [19][20][21]. It is similar to the internalization and construction of knowledge in the human learning process.…”

“…Therefore, we propose to incorporate indoor location information into indoor HAR. Compared with indoor positioning technologies such as UWB and Bluetooth, geomagnetic positioning technology can rely solely on the built-in sensors of smartphones to achieve positioning, without the need to deploy additional infrastructure in the environment in advance [ 6 ]. This can not only reduce deployment costs but also increase the practicality of the system.…”
