A novel chelating resin with diphenyl disulphide functional group: Synthesis, sorption, separation and recovery of some heavy metal ions

Abstract: A novel chelating resin containing diphenyl disulphide as a functional group, supported on poly-(ethylacrylate-acrylonitrile-divinylbenzene) was synthesized by suspension polymerization and characterized by elemental analysis, physico-chemical properties thermal studies, FTIR studies and scanning electron microscopy.
