A Novel Chaotic Communication based Test Signal Approach for Identification of Primary User Emulation Attack in Cognitive Radio Networks

Abstract: Abstract:In this paper, a novel method for detection of Primary User Emulation Attack (PUEA) by tagging (adding tag bits) a test signal in chaotic communication is proposed. The tagged test signal is masked by the secondary user using Lorenz chaotic attractor and sent over the channel. However, it doesn't interfere with test signals of other secondary users. The Bit Error Rate (BER) analysis of the received test signal indicates whether the channel is free or is under PUEA. If the BER of the received signal is… Show more

“…Due to the existence of different identification accuracy of different high-performance computing subpaths, the use of the bispectral quadratic feature model can be obtained in accordance with the feature vector of the communication signal in the results of high-performance computing. Finally, the results of the experiment indicate that the proposed method is practical for the secondary identification algorithm of the communication signal features using the baroclinic distance criterion [ 5 , 6 ]. As the communication signal has the innate advantages of all-day real-time, long-range role, high resolution, and so on, it can be used on a large scale in many fields such as high-resolution processing, feature extraction, signal classification, and so on, and the use of transmitting bispectral quadratic feature model can increase the acquired high-distance resolution.…”

“…Chaos control and chaos analysis as well as chaotification in dynamical systems have received increasing attention from research communities and have been studied extensively. Recently, chaotic systems with higher dimensional attractors called hyperchaotic systems have a broad spectrum of applications in the fields of chemical, electrical engineering, computer and information processing [1][2][3][4][5], etc. Moreover, hyperchaotic synchronization has been the subject of strong and fervent attention from the above fields.…”
