Internet has affected our everyday life drastically. Expansive volumes of information are exchanged over the Internet consistently which causes numerous security concerns. Issues like content identification, document and image security, audience measurement, ownership, copyrights and others can be settled by using digital watermarking. In this work, robust and imperceptible nonblind color image watermarking algorithm is proposed, which benefit from the fact that watermark can be hidden in different color channel which results into further robustness of the proposed technique to attacks. Given method uses some algorithms such as entropy, discrete wavelet transform, Chirp z-transform, orthogonal-triangular decomposition and Singular value decomposition in order to embed the watermark in a color image. Many experiments are performed using well-known signal processing attacks such as histogram equalization, adding noise and compression. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme is imperceptible and robust against common signal processing attacks.

Abstract-"In recent years, ease of the Internet has boosted use of information systems comprising relational data. Relational Databases have been extensively used for information extraction within collaborative environments. In this context, protecting ownership rights and data integrity along with tackling data tampering have become the major issue. Watermarking approaches have been introduced to overcome these issues. It is important for a watermarking method to outperform for maintaining data quality of relational data while recovering data with watermark. Here, reversible watermarking approaches for relational database are compared and studied. These methods ensures data quality along with data recovery in presence of malicious attacks (insertion, deletion and alteration).

Over the past few years, reversible watermarking techniques for relational databases have been proposed to provide protection of ownership rights, data tempering, and data integrity. Mainly, these techniques ensure original data recovery from watermarked data, whereas irreversible watermarking schemes only protect ownership rights. This characteristic of reversible watermarking has emerged as a candidate solution for the protection of ownership rights of data, intolerable to modifications such as medical data, genetic data, credit card, and bank account data. The main objective of this paper is to make an extensive survey of the state-of-the-art in reversible watermarking techniques for relational databases to reflect recent research progress and to point out the key issues for future research. In order to analyze these techniques, a classification has been performed on the basis of (i) the extent of modifications introduced by the watermarking scheme in the underlying data and (ii) the robustness of the embedded watermark against malicious attacks.Reversible watermarking techniques [10,11,26] provide security for trial versions of database applications. The original full version of the database application can be recovered from the decoded database subsequently, dependent on whether the user purchases the license of the database application. For example, database applications providing this facility are IBM DB2 [27] and Oracle [28].
