A novel bitstream level joint channel error concealment scheme for realtime video over wireless networks

Abstract: Abstract-With the increasing trend towards wireless multimedia transmission, robust video transmission over time-varying wireless links becomes increasingly important. The question for realtime video is, given the bandwidth and delay constraints, how to achieve maximal visual quality when the channel is subjected to random and bursty errors.
