A Novel Approach in Designing PID Controller for Semi-active Quarter Car Model

Abstract: Abstract. This paper implements Teaching-Learning based optimization (TLBO) to obtain optimized value of spring stiffness for better ride comfort. Further, this optimized value is then used in a semi-active quarter car setup to remove any discrepancies due to non-optimized spring.
