A novel approach for the edge rolling force and dog-bone shape by combination of slip-line and exponent velocity field

Abstract: This study presents a new mathematical model for edge rolling force and dog-bone shape using the combination of slip-line and exponent velocity field. The slip-line field of the dog-bone area is drawn out based on the deformation characteristics of edge rolling and the maximal depth of dog-bone zone is determined. Then a new exponent velocity field and corresponding strain rate field which satisfy kinematically admissible condition are proposed to analyze the edge rolling force based on upper bound approach. “…The epoxy resin filled with fullerene nanoparticles were found to have high ultimate tensile strength and Young's modulus properties [137]. For methodological industries, high mechanical features attained with 0.1 to 1 wt.% fullerene loadings have been found beneficial [138,139]. The compatibilizations effects owing to matrix-nanofiller interactions and fine nanoparticle scattering were responsible for the formation of high-tech polymer/fullerene nanomaterials [140].…”

“…Liu et al [22] innovatively put forward a three-dimensional kinematic tolerance velocity and strain rate field using dual flow function method and boundary conditions, and compared the calculated plate shapes with other models to prove the accuracy of the field. Zhang et al [23] proposed a new exponential velocity and strain rate field to satisfy the kinematic tolerance conditions adopting the upper bound theorem.…”
