A novel application of acrylic resin UV-Curing methodology for Radioactive surface Decontamination

Abstract: The facilities dealing with radiation technology face the brunt of Radioactive decontamination. A unique UV-Curing method is provided for decontamination of radioisotopes on the surfaces which has radiation dealing facilities. In this method acrylic UV-Curing resin was poured on a contaminated surface followed by exposure under the UV light of 365nm wavelength from a UV irradiation chamber.
