Abstract:Improved understanding of the mechanism of cellulose pretreatment by accessory proteins is beneficial for increasing the hydrolysis efficiency of cellulosic substrates. Here, we report a protein ArCel5 isolated from the cellulose-gelatinizing fungus Arthrobotrys sp. CX1.
