A Note on Applications of the Löwenheim‐Skolem‐Theorem in General Topology

Abstract: The idea of the proof of the Lowenheim-Skolem-Theorem is applied in many fields of mathematics. For instance, this type of argument is called the "closure argument" (see JUHASZ [S]) in the theory of cardinal functions in topology and plays an important role.
