A nonlinear dynamic hysteresis model with magnetic-thermal-stress-fluid coupling effect for hydraulically amplified magnetostrictive actuator

Yuesong Li

Abstract: illustrates the photos of MAHA’s parts. When the control current is applied to the coil, a control magnetic field will be generated on the magnetostrictive rod. When the direction of the control magnetic field is the same as that of the bias magnetic field, the GMM rod will elongate. If the direction of the magnetic field produced by the coil and the direction of the magnetic bias is opposite, the length of the GMM rod is shorter than that in the initial condition.
