A new type of synthetic geochemical reference material—SynTERM

Abstract: Analytical data reported for natural geological reference materials (GRMs) indicates uncertainty in the recommended element concentrations, varying levels of both inhomogeneity in the distribution of trace elements and chemicaYphysica1 instability.
