A New Species of Posoqueria (Rubiaceae) from Bahia, Brazil

Abstract: Posoqueria bahiensis from southern Bahia, Brazil, is described as a new species. It dif¬ fers most notably from all the other species of the genus in being totally glabrous except at the corolla fauce and anthers and in the densely multiflowered inflorescence with ea. 40 flowers.
