A new species of Phymatolithon Foslie, P. abuqirensis (Hapalidiaceae, Hapalidiales), from Mediterranean Egypt

Abstract: Phymatolithon Foslie is one of the most studied and ecologically important genera of crustose coralline algae (CCA) due to their dominant abundance in various marine ecosystems worldwide.
