Abstract:Eutrombidium parishanensis Kiany, Seiedy and Hakimitabar sp. n. (Acari: Microtrombidiidae: Eutrombidiinae) is described and illustrated from ectoparasitic larvae found on Sphodromerus luteipes (Orthoptera: Acrididae: Calliptaminae) from Iran. This species belongs to the species group of Eutrombidium, in which lateral coxalae I and coxalae II and III are small and have an incision in their distal half. The current study raises the number of described species in this genus to 45.
