Abstract:A new solid electrolyte type ammonia gas sensor was fabricated by combining the trivalent aluminum cation conducting (Al 0.2 Zr 0.8 ) 20/19 Nb(PO 4 ) 3 solid electrolyte and the praseodymium ammonium sulfate Pr 2 (SO 4 ) 3 ·(NH 4 ) 2 SO 4 auxiliary sensing electrode. Since the present sensor showed such a superior sensing performance of quantitative, continuous, and reproducible response with obeying the theoretical Nernst relationship, it is expected to be a practical NH 3 gas sensor.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
