Abstract:This paper presents a new recursive formulation for computing the Walsh-Hadamard Transform (WHT) that allows the generation of higher order (longer size) 2-D WHT architectures from four lower order (shorter sizes) WHT architectures. Our methodology is based on manipulating tensor product forms so that they can be mapped directly into modular parallel architectures. The resulting WHT circuits have very simple modular structure and regular topology.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
