A new possibility degree measure for interval‐valued q‐rung orthopair fuzzy sets in decision‐making

Abstract: As a generalization of the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets, a consciousness of interval-valued q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (IVq-ROFSs) is a robust and trustworthy tool to fulfill the imprecise information with an adaptation of the manageable parameter ≥ q 1.

“…Finally, we set up an application for MADM to solve a problem. In the existing decision-making principles of interval-valued q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets [61] and linguistic interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy sets [62], we hope this fuzzy rough concept can be incorporated.…”

“…One is that the weights of experts can also be considered into the model, such as using the belief entropy [70]. e other is that using interval-valued linguistic variables as in [71,72] may be a more flexible way to represent uncertain information.…”

“…In the future, we expect to work in operating the proposed approaches in some other real-life scenarios such as "medical diagnosis", "pattern recognition", and "brain hemorrhage" [51,52]. Also, there is a wide scope to enhance the theory to the different kinds of fuzzy sets such as neutrosophic set, m-polar set, Pythagorean set, etc., [53][54][55][56][57].…”
