A new parallel-hybrid-excitation linear vernier permanent-magnet machine: Improved solution for direct-driven power generation

Abstract: Tn this paper, a parallel-hybrid-excitation linear vernier permanent-magnet (LVPM) machine is proposed for direct-driven power generation. The novelty is that the air-gap flux of the proposed L VPM machine can be adjusted flexibly by injecting the appropriate DC current into the equipped DC field winding.
