Abstract:In the last few years, the rapid development of gamma-ray observations has open a new window on X-ray binaries (XRBs) sources. In this talk we introduce a new lepto-hadronic model that is based on successful work fitting the lower energy, broadband spectra of XRBs in the compact jetdominated state. Protons (and electrons) are accelerated throughout the jet and cool via radiation and inelastic collisions, and we calculate spectral energy distributions (SEDs) including both hadronic and leptonic induced processe… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
