A new in vitro assay for quantitation of chemotherapy-induced mucositis

Abstract: Summary Patients receiving high-dose chemotherapy (HD-CT) are at risk of severe mucositis. Most prevention studies evaluate the degree of mucositis on clinical, and therefore subjective, measurements.
